I am a student at Florida State University and I am majoring in biology on the pre-medical track. I spent three years caring for children ages 3 months to 6 years old. I worked as an assistant teacher and was able to handle 2 children independently when they were under 2 years old, and 8 children independently when they were under 5 years old. I got my passion for babysitting from watching my mom as a teacher while I grew up!

I started babysitting in 2017 with two of my best friends. We created a company, and even made our own business cards! We worked for local families and worked together to create fun activities for the kids. Over the years I have cared for children aged 6 months to 12 years old. During high school I coached children ages 8 - 10 in track and cross country.

I am currently a student at Florida State University studying psychology with a minor in child development. I’ve always had a passion for working with children, and I’ve been babysitting for as long as I can remember. I started professionally at 15 years old, babysitting for my mom’s friends, coworkers, neighbors, and local families in my community. Over the years, I have built lasting relationships with the families I work with. Whenever I’m in my hometown, I still babysit for some of the first families I’ve ever gotten to work with — giving me years of experience working with the same kids.

For most of my life, I did tons of volunteer work at a dance studio assisting in dance classes with kids from 4 years old to 13 years old. I loved getting to know each of the kids’ personalities and being able to interact with them and develop relationships with them. I hope to become a speech language pathologist for children.

I've been working with children in a professional setting since I was 15, but I have generally been working with children and babysitting since 2018. I have worked several years as a summer camp counselor for K-5 students as well. I have experience working with children with special needs such as autism and ADHD. I love working to get to know each individual child and understanding the individual needs and unique interests of each of them. I'm able to assist with homework, as I have experience as a student assistant in elementary-level classrooms. I am also equipped to handle emergency situations, and I am certified in CPR/First Aid by the Red Cross. I love keeping kids engaged in different activities that will offer a fun environment!
