Background: I have been babysitting families since I was 12 years old. I am also the second oldest of 15 grandchildren so taking care of kids and infants has become second nature to me. I have spent time volunteering in kindergarten classrooms (ages 5-6) during the summers while I was in high school, primarily assigned to those with special needs. I am in the College of Business here at FSU studying Marketing and minoring in Accounting. I have had a wide variety of babysitting jobs such as date nights, school pickup and homework, planning and supervising birthday parties, and group sitting. I have experience babysitting and caring for children with special needs ages ranging from 2-13. My favorite part about babysitting is being able to connect with the kids and be someone they remember as an amazing babysitter and friend!!
I have received training on how to support children and teens with ASD from the FSU Center for Autism and Related Disabilities (CARD).
On her own, she’s cared for children as young as: newborn
Future plans: I plan to graduate from FSU and get my MBA from USF. I hope to work for a marketing firm and use my imagination to create ways to market a product so good that it doesn't need to be advertised.
When she’s not babysitting: I enjoy going to the gym, running (when it’s not cold outside), going to the Rez with friends, reading a book, or cooking.
