/[A-ley-nah] (the H is silent)
Birthday: March 2nd
Hometown: I have lived in Pensacola, FL since 2017 but I am originally from San Juan, Puerto Rico!
Other languages: Spanish is my first language, and I am more than happy to help kids learn it!
Favorite Crayola color: Wild Strawberry
Background: I have been babysitting for as long as I can remember. As the oldest daughter on both sides of my family, I have spent a vast amount of my preteen/teenage years being the designated babysitter at family events or vacations. As for families outside of my own, I have been babysitting since 2018 in both private and group settings. I have babysat twins, a special needs child, a family of four kids, and more. The children's ages have ranged from 5 months old to 13 years old, so my experiences vary from changing diapers to helping with homework in various subjects. I also spent most of my summers in high school as a cheer camp counselor, where I cared for young girls between third and fourth grade. Overall, I love spending time with children because they bring joy into the world. I hope to make a lasting impact on each and every child I get the opportunity to care for.
I have received training on how to support children and teens with ASD from the FSU Center for Autism and Related Disabilities (CARD).
She’s cared for children as young as: 5 months old
Future plans: In the next 5-10 years, I plan on going to medical school after I graduate from Florida State University. I plan on pursuing a career in the field of dermatology and opening my own practice. I would also love to start a family and live by the beach in the future.
When she's not babysitting: I love spending time with my friends, traveling with my family, watching comedy movies, and going to the beach any chance I get.
