Background: I’m a student at Florida State University studying Public Health and Public Relations! My love for childcare started early — I began babysitting at 13 and have spent years caring for children in a variety of settings. From assisting in my church’s kids’ ministry to leading summer camp activities, tutoring, working as a classroom assistant, and babysitting for families in both individual and group settings, I’ve had the opportunity to support kids of all ages in both educational and caregiving roles.
I always strive to create a patient, understanding, and inclusive environment. I’ve had experience working with children who have developmental delays, autism, ADD/ADHD, and food allergies, and I ensure that each child’s needs are met with care and attention. Whether it’s keeping kids active with outdoor play, fostering creativity through arts and crafts, or maintaining a structured routine, I focus on making each child feel supported and encouraged.
As a registered Medical Responder with FSU’s Medical Response Unit, I’m trained in emergency care, CPR, and First Aid, ensuring that safety is always my top priority. I understand the importance of responsibility and communication when caring for children, and I always work to create a fun, positive, and nurturing space where kids can thrive!
She’s cared for children as young as: 4 months old
Future plans: I plan to graduate in 2026 with a degree in both Public Health and Public Relations. My ultimate goal is to pursue a career in public relations within the health field, where I can advocate for health equity, emergency medicine, health awareness, and public affairs. I’m passionate about using strategic communication to connect with audiences, and address public health challenges, promote healthcare access, and improve community well-being.
When she's not babysitting: I love spending my time outdoors whether that’s hiking, paddling, or just enjoying a day at the park or the FSU Rez. I love exploring new places, whether it's local hidden gems or day trips. On top of that, I enjoy reading, painting, baking, and spending time with friends and family!
Defining quote: "We can change the world and make it a better place. It is in your hands to make a difference." — Nelson Mandela
“Hadassah was super flexible and willing to always jump in with whatever age group. She had a great and positive attitude and always seemed to thoroughly enjoy the children. She arrived on time and was professional. She never complained and always wanted to be available to help when we needed it. She would interact with the parents after childcare was over and was just a joy to be around! ”
“Hadassah has always been very involved in helping with our childcare needs. She is a great communicator and is able to keep control of a classroom with multiple ages in it. She is very reliable and always came when she said was available.”
