I’m an alumna from Albany State University; my major was Health Science. I am going back to school to get my bachelor's in Dental Hygiene. I’m the oldest of my siblings. I have been babysitting for 10 years; I started out babysitting my siblings, and then when I got older I started working with other kids.

I have also worked in after care at my old school which included taking care of kids ages 5 - 15, and helping them with homework. In addition to both of those, I have babysat for countless family members, family friends, parents' coworkers; these are the settings where I cared for infants and toddlers. I babysat consistently for a family for two years before attending FSU. I forged a strong connection with the family and their two boys, ages three and one year old. I was even able to act as a travel nanny for them on their family vacation. I have worked with many children throughout my babysitting career.

One of the children I babysat was diagnosed with severe autism. As I got older, I regularly tutored a few fourth graders in reading and math.
