Background: I’ve always loved kids - even when I was one myself! I’ve been babysitting kids of all ages for more than 9 years. It began as soon as I turned 13 and was old enough to work in the church nursery. I cared for newborns and infants on Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights. In the summers that followed, I became involved with my church’s vacation Bible school. I’ve always been crafty, but there was a new-found joy sharing this part of myself with little ones. Through the church, I also had the opportunity to volunteer with Nathaniel's Hope - an organization dedicated to serving children with special needs and disabilities. In high school, my love for children extended when families from all walks of life entrusted me with their kids as both a babysitter and a tutor.
I came to Tallahassee for college and I loved it, but I missed being around the kids. When I found Seminole Sitters, a whole new world opened up to me as I had the privilege of babysitting and nannying for many different families over the course of 2 years. I became the primary babysitter of a handful of children and during my last 6 months in Tallahassee, I served as a nanny for a child with severe hemophilia. I learned a lot about keeping children safe and parents informed. During the fall of 2019, I also worked at Celebration Baptist Kinder School as a substitute teacher.
Now, I currently live in Nashville, Tennessee where I am pursuing my dreams of becoming an art teacher. I would love to meet you and care for your little ones if you’re in the area!
She’s cared for children as young as: Newborn
Future plans: I hope to use my creative gifts to inspire children through art.
When she’s not babysitting: I love to read, write, travel, and take photographs. If I’m not babysitting, I’m probably in my car or on a hiking trail, or exploring one of Tennessee’s many hidden treasures.
