Background: I am a recent graduate of Florida State University Schools! I was on the varsity soccer team and have been playing soccer since I was 5 years old! I have always had a natural talent for entertaining children. I love to spend time playing with them so that an otherwise average day can turn into a memorable one. I officially started babysitting during the summer of 2020, when I babysat for a family with two children. Outside of babysitting, I also work with children as a volunteer. I like reading to kids, helping them with different arts and crafts, and getting them outside to play in the great outdoors.
I’ve taken the "Better Babysitting" course through the American Red Cross and am also CPR / First Aid certified through them. I have been trained in Seizure Recognition and First Aid by Epilepsy Florida. I have received training on how to support children and teens with ASD from the FSU Center for Autism and Related Disabilities (CARD).
On her own, she’s cared for children as young as: 4 month old who was born prematurely, and I’d like to gain more experience with infants!
Future plans: I am preparing to go to college at FSU to major in nursing. I hope to get married and have kids of my own someday.
When she’s not babysitting: I love to travel and explore new places! I have been to 33 different states and many national parks. I also love to play and watch soccer, read, and hang out with family and friends!
