Background: I am majoring in Communications and Media Studies with a minor in Public Relations. My passion for child care began when my younger sister was born, sparking a love for caring for children that has only grown since. By the time I was 13, I began babysitting for family friends and neighbors, and at 16, 1 started working as a summer nanny for local families. Over the years, I've had the privilege of caring for children in various age groups and environments.
I also provide infant care at a local church during services. I take pride in creating a safe and nurturing environment for children allowing parents to focus fully on the service, knowing their little ones are in good hands.

On her own, she’s cared for children as young as: 6 months old

Future plans: My future plans include successfully graduating with a bachelor's degree in Communications and Media Studies her at FSU. I am eager to learn the skills and knowledge gained throughout my studies to secure a full-time, career-oriented position in a field related to my degree. My goal is to contribute to a dynamic, forward-thinking organization where can continue to grow both personally and professionally, while applying my education and passion in a meaningful way.

When she’s not babysitting: I have been passionate about photography since 2021, dedicating much of my time to improving my skills and capturing the beauty of everyday moments. While turning this passion into a full-time career may not be immediately realistic, it remains a personal dream of mine. Alongside photography, I have a deep appreciation for music Although I don't play an instrument or sing. I find inspiration in listening to various genres and exploring the creativity of different artists.

Defining quote: "No matter what you do, do it for you!"
l am not sure who said it but I found it on Pinterest in 2019 and it has been my lockscreen ever since.

I met Rena when she was a Teacher’s Assistant at the Early Childhood Program at our school. She would often express her love for kids and that showed daily. She never had a problem when it came to helping one of the kids whether it was helping them with an activity that the teacher assigned or because they were crying. She always went above and beyond for them.

Any time she was scheduled to babysit the kids were always so excited to see her. She seemed to have no problem helping them with the little class activities they would have to take home. She also never had a problem helping last minute when needed. Overall she was a great babysitter and they loved her.
