Background: I am studying social work with a minor in child development and hope to work in child welfare. I have experience with children in both the home and classroom. I have worked as a date night sitter, after school nanny, and an all-day nanny. I have cared for little babies all the way up to pre-teens. I have also worked as a teaching assistant in many classrooms and do well at working with children at their pace and level. I pride myself on getting to know each child and their individual quirks and needs. I love forming relationships with little ones and watching them grow and prosper as I work with them!! I have worked with children with allergies as well as children with behavior issues.
I have received training on how to support children and teens with ASD from the FSU Center for Autism and Related Disabilities (CARD).
On her own, she’s cared for children as young as: 3 months old
Future plans: I hope to obtain my BSW and MSW and work in child welfare. I eventually want to open non-profits based on needs identified from working in the field.
When she’s not babysitting: I am usually doing schoolwork, making jewelry, or reading.
