Ms. Mia
/[MEE-yuh]
Birthday: November 5th
Hometown: Orlando, FL
Favorite Crayola color: Cornflower
Background: I have worked with kids since 2014, babysitting and working as a dance teacher. I have gained experience with children of all ages and have learned so much from each child I care for. The kids and families hold such a special place in my heart. Outside of being a dance teacher I have volunteered as a camp counselor for Vacation Bible School at my local church working specifically with special needs kids. I have a reliable car and would be happy to help with pick-ups and drop-offs from school. While I babysit I love to make up fun dances, sing songs, and engage in fun and safe activities with the kids. I am so excited to start babysitting with Seminole Sitters and cannot wait to meet all the amazing kids and families.
On her own, she’s cared for children as young as: 5 months old (for a few hours), though most of my experience is with children 2+ years old
Future plans: My dream is to merge my two passions together and implement what I have learned while working with children into my future career. I am currently a Freshman at Florida State University hoping to one day work with kids in the field of Occupational Therapy or Child Psychology.
When she's not babysitting: I love to hang out with my friends, dance, and listen to music!
