Ms. Allison

Birthday: December 26th

Hometown: Ft. Lauderdale, FL

Favorite Crayola color: Cerulean

Background: I’ve been passionate about working with children since I was 15, starting as a swim teacher for kids aged 10 months to 12 years. My background as a lifeguard means I’m fully CPR and First Aid certified, ensuring safety at all times. Along with teaching swimming, I’ve expanded my care to babysitting kids of similar ages, where I cook, drive to school or activities, help with homework, and much more. I have experience working with children with special needs and severe allergies. I love creating fun, engaging activities that bring joy while always prioritizing safety.

I have experience working with children with special needs and severe allergies, including kids with autism, down syndrome, severe behavioral issues, and more. Throughout high school, I was the president of a club that worked with special needs students at my school, tutoring them and creating friendships with them.

On my own, I've cared for children as young as: 10 months old

Future plans: I am at FSU studying professional sales and real estate. I plan go into real estate sales after college hopefully back in my home town, Fort Lauderdale.

When she's not babysitting: I enjoy staying active so I go to the gym, go on walks, and play pickle ball. I also like to read, spend time with friends, and go thrifting! When I'm back home in Fort Lauderdale, I love going to the beach and sitting by the pool.

Defining quotation: “Be yourself; everyone else is already taken.” – Oscar Wilde

When she is in town, Allison is an employee at my business, a swim school. She works as a swim coach and camp counselor (2020 - present). I have known Allison and her family since she was a baby. She works for my business teaching children how to swim (ages 1.5 years through 8 years). I highly recommend Allison. She is responsible, organized, energetic, and positive. Her energy is great for working with children of all ages. She is an absolute pleasure to work with! I feel that as Allison grows and matures with each passing year she just improves.

She was very caring and reliable. My children (4, 8, & 11 years old) felt very comfortable staying with her while we went out to a work dinner.
