Babysitting at the Annual Chamber Conference
Seminole Sitters is excited to once again serve families attending the Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Community Conference — our 14th year as the Chamber’s recommended childcare provider! Honored as the Chamber’s "Emerging Business of the Year" in 2009, we are proud to be Tallahassee’s only insured and award-winning babysitting service.
Reserve your sitter early; only a limited number of sitters from Tallahassee will be available!
The Seminole Sitters are background checked, Pediatric CPR & First Aid certified, and vetted by a child care expert with 20+ years of experience. We provide care for all ages (premies to preteens) and those with special needs. One of the sitters traveling to Amelia Island formerly taught children with autism in an ABA school.
We’re happy to care for children in your hotel room or take them out for fun activities and events! No missed naps or feedings, just happy kids all weekend long!
(And YES! We can babysit wherever you’re staying in Amelia Island. Our services are not limited to the Ritz!)
Optional Outings
“Our Space” at the ritz-carlton boasts a cool, modern look and the latest technology featuring flat screen televisions, gaming systems, and timeless favorites like air hockey and foosball. It also features a private movie theater and a large collection of DVDs.
At the Ritz, we can start the day with the 9:30 am fish feeding where they’ll learn about the hotel’s exotic fish and their dietary habits, and even feed them ourselves. At 10:30 am, we can gather for Kids Story Time in the Courtyard.
Throughout the day, we can visit “Our Space” (the on-site game room), play on the beach (looking for fossilized shark teeth!), splash in the pool, take them out to eat, or rest and play back at the room. In the evening, we’ll tuck them in and keep their bedtime routine as familiar as possible.
Whether we’re babysitting at the Ritz or another location nearby, there are endless opportunities for fun! From beach outings and pool time to bike rentals, dining out, trail exploration, scavenger hunts, and movie nights with popcorn — we love getting creative and making lasting memories!
Rates
A nonrefundable deposit of $250 per family* is required to make your reservation and will be applied toward the cost of babysitting. We will be available Thursday evening, full day/evening on Friday, and full day/evening on Saturday. We are happy to arrive early or stay long past midnight. Please note that there is no babysitting available on Sunday.
*If 2+ families share a sitter, the deposit will be reduced to $185 per family!
